This month, we have an update from one of our local mission partners Yeldall Manor.

Yeldall Manor is a residential drug and alcohol treatment centre near Reading for men struggling with addiction. They welcome and value applications from men from all walks of life, background, ethnicity, culture and faith. They want all those affected by addiction to heal, transform and thrive.

An update from the Yeldall team

March saw the arrival of our new CEO, Maarten, and the return of Dan Head as interim Director of Operations. We are encouraged and excited about their leadership and all that lies ahead in this next chapter and we pray for wisdom and guidance on them and all in leadership.

We are also recruiting to potential HR and Fund-Raising roles and pray for the people of God’s choosing to join the team.

We give thanks for all that God continues to do here; for lives changed day by day. We give thanks for the amazing staff team, both old and new. Most of all we give thanks for God’s faithfulness and mercies, which are new every morning but have sustained us for nearly 50 years now.

Please pray for all the residents in the challenging but life-changing work of recovery – that they will keep their focus on recovery and on God. We also pray for improved occupancy, including men staying on to the Lodge resettlement programme.

We give thanks for those men who have successfully completed the programme recently, some of whom graduated at the recent Celebration service, and we ask for blessing and safety at this vulnerable time.
