Making Jesus known to everyone, everywhere

At Limitless Kids Reading, we want the children and young people to know their identity in Christ and their place in the Kingdom of God. Our aim is to help release them into their spiritual giftings, build strong friendships and guide them in developing a deeper relationship with God.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Proverbs 22:6

In order to achieve this, we have a range of activities available for children on Sundays and during the week.

Sundays

During our weekly Sunday services, we provide sessions for children of all ages.

Limitless Kids Creche

During the Sunday morning sermon parents of babies and children under 2 are welcome to use the back lounge. There will be toys set up and access to the kitchen area if needed. You can also listen to the sermon being preached through an audio relay.

Limitless Kids 2-4s

Our group for pre-school children meets on a Sunday morning during the sermon. Through song, play and craft activities the children begin to understand key events and people in the Bible.

Limitless Kids 5-7s

This group is for children in Year 1 to Year 3. This group meets on a Sunday morning during the sermon where our aim is to build strong foundations. Through bible stories, the children are taught about key biblical events and shown how God worked through the lives of biblical characters. A range of activities are used to help the children’s understanding as well as time being given to ask what does this mean for me?

Limitless Kids 8-11s

This group is for children in Year 4 to Year 6. This group meets on a Sunday morning during the sermon time. As with the younger groups our aim is to build strong foundations and to show how God worked through the lives of biblical characters. A variety of activities are used and time is given to applying principles to their own lives as well as time to wait on God to see what he wants to say to us.

Mid-week

During term-time we run the following group for pre-school children.

Limitless Tots

Parents or carers with babies and toddlers under 5 are invited to meet every Wednesday morning during term time. Sessions run from 9:30am-11:00am and include craft, storytelling, free play and a snack time.  We also run a messy play session once a term.

Limitless Kids Community

Throughout the year we also offer a number of special sessions for children.

Half Term Hangout

Twice a year in February and October half term we run our hangout sessions.  These run from 10am-2pm. The first part of the morning until 12pm is for primary-aged children to build relationships and hang out together. The church is split into different activity zones: craft, construction, board games etc.. and we also have whole group games and songs.   Parents can attend our cafe while their children enjoy the sessions. After the session families are welcome to stay for lunch together.

Light Party

On 31st October each year we like to run a Light Party as an alternative to Halloween.  This session for families (parents stay too) runs from 5-7pm and includes snacks and drinks.  We encourage all attendees to dress up (nothing scary please) and the session includes games, songs, activities and a special guest.

Holiday Bible Club

Our annual holiday club runs in the first full week of the Summer holidays. It runs every day from 10am to 12:15pm and is for primary-aged children.  Through songs, games, crafts and stories the children explore an aspect of the bible. Each week has a fun theme, in recent years we have covered inventions, space, detectives and even the seaside.
