Welcome to this first edition of Missions Mailing, providing updates, prayer points and helpful links about All Nation Christian Centre’s mission partners.
Focus mission partner – John & Rachel McDonough, Paraguay
John & Rachel have worked in Paraguay since 2009, pioneering a ministry that reaches out to people who have not yet heard the gospel. This year they have been planting fruit trees on the church plot and have been blessing the community by sourcing good quality seeds so that local people can sow, grow and eat healthy produce at a reasonable price. They are also building a pig enclosure! Other activities include:
- Karu Guazu(‘i) = big meal! An opportunity every 6-8 weeks to share a communal church meal after the service.
- A new shaded area for outdoor children’s ministry – to keep everyone cool.
Please pray for:
- Health and stronger immunity for all the illnesses the family regularly encounter.
- The breakthroughs being seen in the life of the church family members, e.g. the son of a community leader who has made a commitment to follow Jesus and is often helping with construction projects on the church land.
Prayer points from our mission partners
- REACH: pray for the new CU at Crossfields School. Nine students joined their first meeting – pray for growth and a strong witness.
- MAOZ Israel UK: at this turbulent time in the Middle East, please continue to pray for peace and the work of MAOZ Israel – supporting believers to be strong in Israel and reach every Israeli with the truth of the Gospel.
