Liz shares her poem entitled “I Am Seeking”.

Oh Lord I am seeking something,
I don’t know exactly what?
A way through this chaos?
Comfort in the pain?
Answers to all my questions?
The strength to go again?

But somehow I know it is only found in You,
Only in You will the mountains move,
Only in You will miracles fall,
Only through You can grace rest,
Only through You is healing begun.

So, I will not fill this void inside,
With other things,
With chatter, with noise,
With anything but Your presence.

Why do we do that?
Why are we afraid?
When You have been faithful for generations,
When only You can fulfil my hunger,
Only You can quench my thirst.

So, may I come surrendered,
With arms uplifted and palms open wide,
And give You all I carry,
Release to You all that weighs me down,
That well of unshed tears,
For You will supply every need,
And out of the overflow blessings multiply,
And joy and peace abound.
